MS Dhoni is fifth on the list of wicketkeepers with the most dismissals in Test cricket. He has taken 256 catches and made 38 stumpings in 90 Tests, giving him an aggregate of 294, which is 261 dismissals less than the most Test dismissals by a wicketkeeper all-time (Mark Boucher, 555).

Dhoni has accrued 404 dismissals in One-Day International cricket with 297 catches and 107 stumpings, coming fourth on the list of most dismissals by a wicketkeeper all-time. Kumar Sangakkara (482), Adam Gilchrist (472) and Mark Boucher (424) are the only ones ahead of him on the list.
However, Dhoni boasts the record for the most stumpings by a wicketkeeper in ODIs with 107. The second-best is 99 by Sangakkara.
Dhoni is also part of a list of wicketkeepers with the most dismissals in an innings (six), which he shares with Gilchrist, Boucher, Ridley Jacobs, Alex Stewart, Jos Buttler, Quinton de Kock, Sarfraz Ahmed, Matt Prior, and Matthew Cross (Scotland).
Dhoni’s highest ODI score of 183*, which came against Sri Lanka in 2005, is the highest ever by a wicketkeeper in ODI.

MS Dhoni, the wicketkeeper, is the undisputed No. 1 in T20I cricket with 78 dismissals (49 catches and 29 stumpings). His tally is 18 better than the next-best, Kamran Akmal’s 60. Dhoni’s tally of 29 stumpings is the second-most by a wicketkeeper in T20I cricket.
