India seamer Deepak Chahar holds the record for the best bowling figures in T20 Internationals having taken six wickets for seven runs in a T20I against Bangladesh at the VCA Stadium in Nagpur. During this spell, he also became the first Indian male cricketer to take a T20I hat-trick with the wickets of Shafiul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman and Aminul Islam.
Chahar bettered the record of Ajantha Mendis, who took six wickets for eight runs in a T20 International for Sri Lanka against Zimbabwe in 2012 and features on this list twice along with Pakistan seamer Umar Gul.
Among Indians, Yuzvendra Chahal holds the second-best bowling figures in T20 Internationals having taken six for 25 against England at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in February 2017.
